Stuffed Bell Peppers
Here is how I make my stuffed peppers recipe. Before starting this recipe, remember that the ground beef should already be defrosted and that the rice and beans should already be cooked. Enjoy!!

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Next, boil a pot of water. Once the water boils, lower the heat and place the peppers (untouched) in the water for about 5 minutes.
  2. Drain the water from the pot and replace it with cold water to allow the peppers to cool. Dice the onion and mince the cloves of garlic while waiting.
  3. When the peppers have cooled down, cut the tops off of each one. Cut a circle around the green stems from the tops and remove them. Remove all of the seeds from inside the peppers. Put peppers aside in a lightly greased baking pan.
  4. Add beef, spinach, onions, and garlic to a lightly greased frying pan. Cook until beef is brown.
  5. Once beef is brown, slowly add other ingredients. Start with the marinara sauce, rice and beans. Stir well and cook for 3-5 minutes. Add the cheese pepper, salt and chopped parsley. Stir well and cook until the cheese starts to melt, about 3 minutes.
  6. Stuff beef mixture into the peppers. Do not overfill. Place the tops back onto the peppers and place the pan into the preheated oven. Cook for about 35 minutes.
